About Me
"The path of least resistance is what makes both man and rivers crooked" -Henry David Thoreau |
Life is Good.
This statement is so true, but as a human who lives in a broken world sometimes it's hard for me to say this with a joyful attitude. Their is so much hurt and despair in the world today and it's hard to relate to other people because so often we see the highlight reel of other's lives through their social media. We don't see others going through dry seasons or hurting at loss. Instead we are left confused and asking God why we are the only ones suffering. I have often times come to this place of defeat and desperation because I don't understand what God is doing... so I lose hope. It's like looking at a tapestry from the bottom. We just see this mess of threads and knots with no order or purpose. But all the while God is taking every thread of joy and tribulation in our life and weaving it into a beautiful story. He is able to see the beautiful pattern of how our life story weaves together for His purpose. I hope to share glimpses of my trials and rejoicings along with how God has weaved them for His tapestry of grace. Along with posts about my personal experiences in how God is gracefully weaving my life I also want to post a few DIY projects, tips, and favorite finds.
